Hi All!

This letter is intended to provide you with information about me before you enter the preseason meeting. My name is Coach Butler and I have a passion for the sport of cheerleading. I went to Lemont High School and was on the cheerleading team all 4 years. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. Next fall, I will be teaching at Hinsdale Central and working closely with the dean’s department. For the past 3 years, I was a cheerleading coach at Lincoln-Way Central High School. My experience as a head coach equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and relationships within the cheerleading community to be able to continue the success of this program. It is my goal to embrace Hinsdale Central Cheerleading’s traditions, while also contributing my own experiences to our teams. As a coach, I set high expectations of my athletes, both on and off the mat. Not only will I put my 100% into all aspects of this program, but I also expect the same from each one of my cheerleaders. It is extremely important to have a strong bond within our teams, their families, and throughout the program as a whole. As a coach and teacher, it is my honest belief that every student-athlete can perform to their best potentials; it is my promise to each one of you that I will do everything in my power to meet and exceed these standards.
